Hello Everyone,
WOW how is it October already, this year has absolutely flown by.
Well since restrictions lifted for makeup artists at the end of May in Scotland, I have been absolutely non stop with makeup and photography jobs, family visits, family occasions and to top it off I have had some horrible health issues to deal with since September 2020. Nearly sorted on that front.
So as you can imagine, my filming for Youtube, blogs and social posts have been few and far between. I had to turn away so much work as I was already booked. Something had to give which was the above. I have really missed my filming, and blogging. As well as keeping my socials more up to date. When you do everything yourself you just can’t keep on top of it all when you are so busy.
So…..
I will be out of action from October 6th 2021 due to having a major operation. I have to take 8-12 weeks off business. Which honestly I struggled to come to terms with especially after the pandemic. I was just getting back to a groove with jobs and then I got the news I had to have this operation. But it has to be done, I am actually really looking forward to getting back to normal and not having to be on this horrible drug I have been on for a year. Onwards and upwards.
I am looking at this time off as a holiday, seen as though all through lockdown I worked so hard on my online videos, courses and social side of things. So I must take this time to rest fully and recover as quickly as I can. And be kind to myself.
Thank you to all of my clients/students who have booked me for lessons, training courses (online and in person), weddings,makeovers and photography jobs. I have had an absolute blast. I will be back very soon to help many more clients and students.

Below are some lovely images I took in September for a local bridal designer Pan Pan Bridal in Edinburgh. I shot Li’s (shop owner and designer) new range of dresses, which she designed herself. They are all absolutely exquisite. It was very hard to choose, as we had so many fabulous final images. More to follow once we publish the rest of the series.
