SHOCK EM CHRISTMAS MAKEUP - NARS COSMETICS
Hello everyone, well it is December 2020 already, wow what a year. A lot of up’s and downs for many this year. I have to say, It has been lovely this year to carry out lots of free makeup lessons/content on my Instagram channel and Facebook page, to help lift peoples spirits and keep things positive.
Makeup is always fun, so it has been lovely to create and engage with lots of people weekly. And keep the positivity flowing.
For some weird reason I am not able to do Facebook Lives anymore, the sound is terrible, yet I can film perfectly on Instagram. Very odd. I did report this to Facebook, but I heard nothing back. Ah well, Instagram and YouTube only for now.
Any hoo,
Today I want to share some new and very beautiful makeup products with you all. I had a lovely set of makeup sent to me from Nars after a zoom call I had with them a few weeks back. It was so much fun, and it was lovely to see the NARS artists use some of the range I had never used before.
Most of the things I received in the pack I have used previously, as they sent me the hero products.
These include the following -
Radiant Creamy Concealer I received shade Creme Brulee. I have a vast amount of these concealers in my pro kit. Absolute staple for me and my clients. I use Custard on myself and Cafe Au Lait.
Climax Mascara
Orgasm Blusher
Matt Lipstick - Shade Jolie Mome
Matt Lip pigment shade Get It On
Laguna Matt Bronzer. I love this for warming up the face ( if needed ) as well as warming up areas of the body.
Main products I used to create this festive look are featured below;-
The sparkle I have on my eyes for this look is a product I bought a while ago. It is called Powerchrome loose eye pigment in shade SHOCK EM. A gorgeous gold flaky pigment, you can use this as it is loosely over the eyelid, or you can press it over a creamy base to give more colour payoff. If you choose the latter you will need to press the product a little harder to get this effect. I used a dense brush to pat it on. Please see images below.
Below is a close up of the pigments. Remember makeup is fun, experiment and enjoy it all.
