After completing one of Sarah's online makeup courses, I decided to book onto the 5 day face to face bridal course- if you are looking to become a bridal MUA I cannot recommend this course enough- the first three days involved working on different models and focusing on different aspects of makeup (natural, smokey eye, mature skin), the fourth day focused on the business side of being an MUA (website, making contacts, photo shoots etc.) and the final day was a photo shoot with a professional model, hairstylist, dressmaker and photographer (the photographer was Sarah herself). These photos were they sent off to be professionally edited and these were then sent to me to help start to build my portfolio- see a few examples attached! It really did feel like the course was all about me and my professional development, something you don't get on a course with a classroom full of other students. Overall Sarah is very professional, a great mentor, very calm, patient and proactive. I am so glad I completed this course with Sarah and can't wait for my business to grow. I have since assisted Sarah at a wedding which has been great experience. Her continued mentorship is well worth the money. Thank you Sarah!

How long does the online course take to complete?
I do not set any deadlines for the course to be completed by. The course is very flexible and you fit this around your own schedule to suit you. A lot of my students have busy life’s, therefore I like to keep it flexible for people. The more you study the quicker you will complete the modules. But at the same time if you can only fit in a little study and practical work once a month, this is also completely fine.
Do you offer aftercare with your online course? And face to face Training?
I do with the Diamond and Platinum editions. I offer x1 video call every 4 weeks for 12 weeks for the online option, as well as 6 months aftercare with the diamond edition and 1 year of aftercare and mentorship with the platinum edition. The calls can be rolled over if you wish to not take one one month. This is a great addition as I can check in with you and we can discuss your progress, and what you need to be doing to move forward. This is also very beneficial to discuss your kit building, applications, practice work and anything else you wish to ask me. I advise students to make bullet points for the calls. Aftercare for my face to face training is priced separately on a be spoke service. Once you have received your initial 4 calls within the online course, if you wish to take more calls aftercare, this can be arranged for you. This is fantastic for you to start building your business and to kick start your portfolio building.
Who are my courses suitable for?
My courses are perfect for aspiring artists, existing artists and also beginner artists as well as non professionals. I train a lot of people right from the beginning, but equally I also train people who have studied elsewhere but feel they need to add more to their skill set, and to also have their confidence levels lifted. My courses are great for building confidence and really lifting people higher and getting you to where you need to be in your makeup artistry career.
How does payment work?
You order your online course through the Thinkific course platform, you can then pay via credit card, paypal or debit card. If paying monthly for my online courses this is arranged via bank transfer or paypal If booking my face to face training this is all done via bank transfer or credit card.
Will I receive a certificate?
I offer a certificate of completion once the modules have been carried out to a very high standard, and I have seen evidence of your practical work, I ask students to mail me their work after each module so I can access and mark this. Certificates are also handed to students who complete my 5 day bridal course to a high standard. Please note that the industry is a very visual industry and any work you gain will be based on you and your portfolio not a certificate. Therefore it does not matter if it is accredited or not. I actually end up re training a lot of people who are given accredited certificates. I have never used my certificate in over 10 years, my certificate was not accredited. A lot of the top artists are self taught and also do not have a certificate. Please bear in mind it takes time to build up your portfolio of work, I spent 1.5-2 years under taking test shoots to build my portfolio and skill set alongside allowing me to network with other creatives, all of this is crucial to build your business. You can get insurance with certain companies without having a accredited certificate.
